Celestino Vietti, after a non-optimal start from the ninth box, following a contact in the second corner, found himself in sixteenth position. A real shame, because Celestino then recovered to eighth place, managing the race and remaining in the fight for the top positions with more than good times.
The excessive heat forced Vietti to safeguard the excessively worn tire due to the comeback in order not to take unnecessary risks. In the finale, a long lap penalty served on the last lap led him to finish the race in tenth position, conquering another top 10.
